To make your retreat a memorable one, the Lake Clear Lodge & Retreat offers three (3) Adirondack Great Camp style Experiences. You may , choose one, do a hybrid of all three, or we would be more than pleased to work with you to personalize your experience - which is what we truly enjoy doing.

Group Experience is a value package where you choose one facility for your special event and a basic meal plan.

Classic Experience

Our Classic Experience offers the use of several retreat facilities to diversify your event or to provide break-out spaces and includes our renowned classic cuisine of our unique fusion of Adirondack flavors with Old World tastes.

Great Camp Experience

In our Great Camp Experience, our entire 25-acre estate is reserved for your use with a 100 Mile culinary tasting menu that focuses on local Adirondack products with Old World natural essences.

You are only limited to your imagination in terms of adding special touches. You are truly in the epicenter of Adirondack Park activities ranging from cosmopolitan to rustic, from indoor fun to outdoor imagination - you truly can do it all. Here are just a few examples:

The Lodge has welcomed guests since 1886.With 4 generations of family; it has become a special portal wanned by laughter in the Fireside Rathskeller, the romantic jingle of a horse-drawn sleigh ride, the look of inspiration in our Lake-view Retreat Center and the sensory experience of our culinary immersions. There is a magic here born by the love of life of our guests and 4 generations of family who have lived here - where the owner is still the chef.

When Planning Your Special Event...

If you are planning a special event, we encourage you to visit. The Lodge is not for everyone. Chef Cathy may greet from her kitchen and Ernest from his artisan wood-working shop. We purposely do not have valet service or televisions in our hand-crafted lodgings. We do have family heirlooms, crystal and silver, quiet and good-humor nature all around you from our singing resident loons to our residents. We treat you not as guests but as best friends with all the prim and proper fittings showing the best of our house, because for 4 generations it has been our home - one of the last original Adirondack lodges still open to the public. It is what we do, and part of us is you.
